Len here: Left Chamberlain, SD. at 1200 hrs CST. After a quick stop for coffee and lunch, we hit I-90 West. Arrived at Lake Park Campground in Rapid City, SD and was assigned a site that did not have WiFi coverage. Unfortunately, we did not find this out until after we set up the trailer, etc. After confronting Management, we decided to leave. Made one phone call and we had a new reservation at a new campground (Happy Holiday Campground) that guaranteed WiFi coverage. This new site is closer to Mt. Rushmore, and well off the highway (i.e. much quieter, etc.) However, we are both tired. Faith is in bed I-netting, and I am headed there soon. Rain today, 82 degrees F. Did not run out of gas. What more can you ask for.
Faith here: We were on the road for about 5 hours today and travelled 217 miles. You can tell we’re in the Black Hills now. Very hilly roads here in and around Rapid City!
