Left Onalaska, WI at 8 a.m. Arrived in Chamberlain, SD at 5 p.m. Stayed at Indian Creek Campground on Lake Francis Camp. It's a dammed up lake on the Missouri River.
As Len was hooking up the water to the trailer, he accidentally sprayed my computer, and my computer shut down!! Yikes! There goes my lifeline! But, he went into McGyver mode again and disassembled my computer and dried it all out with my hair dryer and it's working just fine now. Whew!
Our neighbor at the campground was also on his way to Alaska. (what are the odds of that?!) He is a doctor of rheumatology and is moving to Alaska to practice there. His wife and 5 month old daughter flew up there, and he and his 2 greyhounds were making the drive.
9 hours of travel and 458 miles today. Not too bad for a day's 'work'.
